Longtime Dog Manny Payero captained the team in 2006. Manny has been playing paintball since before most of you kids were born. He has been a hard core tournament baller since the days when "standups" were big trees, "snakes" were things to avoid while crawling in the brush, and players used terms like "constant air" and "direct feed". Manny is pouring his years of experince into building a strong team from a new, promising lineup.
The NY Dogs Paintball Team was started as the Dogs of War in 1988. The team was hard core competition in the Northeast from 1989 to the mid 1990s, and at the national level from the late 1990s to 2006.
Today we are a recreational team that, starting with our 20 year reunion in December 2008, will play a few times a year FOR FUN.
